TribalVision Managing Partner Chris Ciunci Publishes Book to Help Business Owners Achieve Dramatic Top-Line Growth

PROVIDENCE, RI –

Chris Ciunci has self-published his second book, Marketing in the Trenches: 25 Real-World Marketing Tips to Achieve Dramatic Business Growth. The book is available for purchase on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iBooks along with other online retail channels.

Chris is the Founder and Managing Partner of TribalVision, an outsourced marketing department for hire with offices in Boston and Providence. A graduate of Swarthmore College and the Yale School of Management, he is a popular speaker and thought leader across New England and is the author of Market Smarter (2010). Chris was recently recognized by the Small Business Association (SBA) as the 2015 Rhode Island Small Business Person of the Year.

Chris’ book offers a much needed answer to business owners who are not achieving their growth potential. Instead of approaching marketing from the typical tactic-based perspective that can be found in other marketing books, Marketing in the Trenches offers 25 easily digestible and actionable tips that extend beyond the standard marketing lexicon. Rather, the tips touch on all facets that effect the growth of an organization – ranging from the makeup of internal teams to running productive meetings to developing growth strategies that work. Each tip discusses high-level strategy before diving into detailed implementation recommendations – with each tip ending in an actionable “In the Trenches Takeaway” that outlines immediate next steps a business owner or leader can take.

Marketing in the Trenches was inspired by Chris’ years of experience helping small to midsize organizations grow by revamping their marketing efforts. As Chris describes, “I have been in the trenches working hand-in-hand with business owners to get to the heart of their problems over the years, and I have consistently seen the same impediments to growth coming up again and again. I wrote Marketing in the Trenches to help business owners avoid these common missteps and make some changes that will allow them to unlock their growth potential.”

Chris has found that the growth of a company has less to do with the mastery of traditional marketing tactics and more to do with the aggregate decisions and actions embraced by everyone within an organization. Marketing in the Trenches addresses growth from this perspective – helping readers to envision their companies as unified marketing engines where all departments and strategies ladder into one cohesive, growth-centered strategic plan.

Marketing in the Trenches has been praised for its actionable solutions as well its practical approach. Kevin Lane Keller, E.B. Osborn Professor of Marketing at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, expressed his enthusiasm for the book: “Marketing in the Trenches offers some comprehensive, no-nonsense marketing advice as to how to grow a business. Leaving no stone unturned, it provides concrete, actionable solutions to the many difficult challenges faced by small or medium sized business owners.
