TribalVision Founder Chris Ciunci Participates at the 11th Annual CIBER Case Challenge

PROVIDENCE, RI – OCTOBER 30th, 2014

TribalVision Founder and CEO Chris Ciunci recently served for the third time as a judge at the Eleventh Annual CIBER Case Challenge, held October 15 – 19, 2014 at the University of Connecticut Campus in Storrs, Connecticut. Hosted by the University of Connecticut’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), the Eleventh Annual Case Challenge featured ten teams of undergraduate business students from around the world. Divided into randomly selected groups of four and presented with a challenging business case, the students were given 22 hours to develop a strategy and build a presentation to present to the panel of judges.

The Case Challenge provides students with an exceptional opportunity to network and collaborate with peers from different universities, as well as gain exposure to a broad array of business specialties including finance, operations, management, and marketing. As a judge, Chris was able to interact with the students and provide feedback to the up and coming business professionals. Commenting on his experience, Chris said, “The CIBER Case Competition is truly a pleasure to participate in. It gives students a unique opportunity to resolve ‘real-world’ situations, and I am impressed each year by the caliber of the resolutions provided by the teams.”

As the resident marketing expert among the final round judges, Chris implemented his over 15 years of marketing experience to evaluate the presentations of the finalists. Because the case dealt with Amazon’s entry into new markets, Chris was able to draw on TribalVision’s experience helping Belgian and Korean companies enter the US market. TribalVision also helps companies stay on top of the latest trends in today’s rapidly changing marketing environment, and Chris was delighted to be able to introduce some of these trends to the students.
