TribalVision Announces Cambridge Office Opening

PROVIDENCE, RI – NOVEMBER 26, 2012

Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, TribalVision today announced plans to open a Cambridge, Massachusetts office effective December 1st, 2012. The new office – located at 1 Mifflin Place – will house TribalVision’s growing Strategy Division. The office is located a block from the Harvard Square train station and is at the doorsteps of both Harvard University and MIT.

With several employees commuting to Providence from Cambridge and Boston each day, the new office cuts down on their commuting schedule while also enabling TribalVision to become an even more attractive option for future teammates who reside in the Boston area. TribalVision’s Founder Chris Ciunci states, “Attracting and retaining world class talent is the lifeblood of our business and is the most powerful lever we can pull to continue to exceed client expectations and deliver highly impactful work. With the opening of the Cambridge office, we feel we have taken a big step forward in solidifying our talent base for many years to come.”

In addition, the Cambridge office enables TribalVision to more conveniently serve its growing client base. With over half of its clients located in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, the office will serve as a convenient meeting place for existing and future business. TribalVision Founder Chris Ciunci Participates at the 9th Annual CIBER Case Challenge

PROVIDENCE, RI – OCTOBER 20th, 2012

TribalVision Founder and CEO Chris Ciunci participated this past weekend in the CIBER Case Challenge located at the University of Connecticut Campus in Storrs, Connecticut. Hosted by the University of Connecticut’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), the Ninth Annual Case Challenge featured fourteen teams of undergraduate business students from across the country and around the globe. Divided into groups of four, the Case Challenge presented students with an exceptional opportunity to network and collaborate with peers from different universities as well as gain exposure to a broad array of business specialties including; finance, operations, management, and marketing. On Friday October 19th, each team of students was given 22 hours to develop a strategy and build a presentation for the CIBER Case Challenge that would take place the next day in front of a panel of three judges.

As a judge, Chris was able to interact with the students and provide feedback to the up and coming business professionals. Commenting on his experience, Chris said, “The CIBER Case Competition exposes students to pressing international business issues and challenges them to resolve ‘real-world’ situations. The collaboration within the teams was a pleasure to watch especially given each team was composed of strangers paired up the day of the competition.  Their creative resolutions and unique approaches to the case at hand were well thought out and impressive.”

Given the case at this year’s competition was global in scope, Chris was able to impart his years of practical international experience when judging the viability of each team’s recommended strategies. After a day’s worth of intense collegial competition, Chris was delighted to congratulate the winning team of the competition, “X-Continent” which included: Elizabeth Bouyer (University of North Carolina), Xi (Christina) Jin (Purdue University), Alberto Parrella (University of Trento, Italy), and Samuel Supnick (University of Maryland).

The presentation will be co-sponsored by The Amica Center for Career Education (Bryant’s Career Center) with the student-run Communication Society.

Amy Weinstein, Assistant Director at the Amica Center for Career Education, will be moderating the event with several prepared questions for the panelists including how they got started in the field, the essential skills needed for social media careers, and how they see the field changing over the next five years.

A graduate of Swarthmore College, Chris began his entrepreneurial career right out of college as the co-founder of Keyline International Hong Kong, Ltd., an international trading company. After earning his MBA with distinction at the Yale School of Management, Chris served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President for Home Loan Investment Bank, where he quadrupled revenue for the Bank’s commercial lending division and transformed the company into the 5th largest USDA lender and 26th largest SBA 7(a) lender in the country.

TribalVision Hires Three New Marketing Analysts to Support its Growing Client Base

TribalVision is pleased to welcome Morgan Morris, Manos Fountoulakis and Amanda Wyatt to the company’s growing team of marketing professionals.

A recent cum laude graduate of Harvard College, Amanda is joining TribalVision after a 6-month internship with the firm. Before her employment at TribalVision, Amanda interned with CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Marketing Department, where she participated in a wide range of projects from rebranding the company’s communications to updating the online sales system and improving “print-on-demand” functionality for client personalization. She has also contributed to research laboratories at the Harvard Business School and at Judge Baker’s Center in Boston. “I’m thrilled to be joining TribalVision as a full-time analyst,” said Amanda. “In my time here, I’ve been able to appreciate the meaningful and unique impact that TribalVision can have for its clients, and I’m eager to continue assisting in that process.”

After recently graduating from Bryant University, Morgan Morris joined the TribalVision team on June 1st. While earning a Bachelor of Science degree in the School of Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and entrepreneurship, Morgan explored her own entrepreneurial endeavor and founded a green promotional company called Inspire Green Inc. In 2009, her company won the Ideas into Action Business Plan Competition at Babson College, earning over $20,000 in start-up capital. Morgan was also a finalist in the Rhode Island Business Plan Competition, and her entrepreneurial spirit coupled with her passion for marketing makes her a valuable addition to TribalVision. “I am very fortunate to have found a company like TribalVision,” said Morgan. “Joining a fast rising company that delivers quantifiable change to a diverse portfolio of clients has provided me with an unparalleled opportunity.”

Manos Fountoulakis is a recent graduate of Bennington College with a degree in Liberal Arts, where his academic areas of focus were media studies and design. Before joining TribalVision, Manos held marketing and public relations internships at Matador Records, Chamberlain Healthcare Public Relations, The Steal Yard, and Bay Computer Associates. During his internships, Manos was involved in a variety of marketing related projects that included a proposed website redesign for Chamberlain Healthcare PR, and a significant contribution to award winning presentations. “This is an opportunity for me to develop my skills in an intimate environment,“ said Manos,  “I believe that working at TribalVision will allow me to make a significant impact while learning from experienced professionals.”

On May 31st, the Rhode Island Small Business Development Center (RISBDC), the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC), and the John H. Chafee Center will host a workshop series concerning “Marketing for International Business.” TribalVision, an outsourced marketing firm based in Rhode Island, will present the workshop on “Social Media Marketing for International Trade” for business owners looking to capture new business on a global stage.
